Currently there are not any accurate apps to measure blood pressure directly with your phone alone. While some smartphone apps to measure blood pressure have been developed, these have not been validated. However, blood pressure apps, like BPCorrect, can be of great value used in conjunction with a validated blood pressure device. The app can remind you to take your blood pressure, instruct you in proper technique, aggregate your measurements, and allow you to share your measurements with your doctor, nurse, or other family member.
